We do this by instilling values of community pride and promoting community engagement. We provide youth with knowledge, skills, and community connections that enable them to engage with social justice issues in their communities.

Over the past 13 years, youth in Southeast Queens and Central Brooklyn have created multimedia social action projects that speak to the issues their communities face daily. DIVAS for Social Justice has successfully worked with youth to create interactive mapping projects about their communities.
