Imaging Ourselves is an 8-week program, which teaches young women in underserved communities the fundamentals of digital photography and Adobe Photoshop by using examples of the way images of women of color are manipulated in the media. Students are then encouraged to take photographs and retouch images with software in a way that reflects the true beauty of their communities.
