For almost three years, DIVAS for Social Justice has been working in partnership with NYU’s Dr. Kayla DesPortes to research and develop a Social Justice Makerspace that highlights the importance of:
Individual Empowerment, Community Connectedness and Diversity Vs. Cultural Preservation. It is our 1st research paper published and we look forward to growing this partnership and bringing this model to other communities.
